1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to PuzzleJot (“we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible at https://puzzlejot.com. By accessing or using our website, playing our online puzzles, using our custom word search maker, or downloading our printable PDF files, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

2. Permitted Use & Printing License

You MAY NOT:

  • Sell, rent, lease, or monetize our PDF files, answer keys, or physical prints.
  • Compile our puzzles into physical or digital books (e.g., on Amazon KDP or Etsy) for commercial sale.
  • Rehost, mirror, or republish our PDF downloads on third-party websites without our prior written consent.
  • Remove, crop, or obscure the PuzzleJot brand mark, URL, or copyright notice from any printed sheet.
  • Use automated scrapers, web spiders, or data mining software to extract word lists, solutions, or layout assets.

3. Digital Products, Purchases & Merchant of Record

PuzzleJot offers premium curated printable PDF collections (“Printable Bundles”) containing 50 to 150 themed word search puzzles formatted for home printing and digital solving.

Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy)

Our order processing, payment collection, and international sales tax/VAT compliance are conducted by our merchant partner, Lemon Squeezy, LLC (“Merchant of Record”). When you purchase a digital collection, your transaction is subject to Lemon Squeezy’s Terms of Service and Customer Privacy Policy. Your credit card statement will reflect charges under LEMONSQUEEZY* PUZZLEJOT or LMN*PUZZLEJOT.

A. Delivery & Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive immediate digital access to your purchased PDF file via an on-screen confirmation page and an automated fulfillment receipt sent to your designated email address. Your download link remains active for a generous 7-day window and includes up to 10 download attempts. If your link expires or you lose your file, our support team will reissue your link free of charge upon verification.

B. License for Purchased Bundles

Purchasing a printable collection grants you an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to print and solve the puzzles for personal, family, educational, and community non-profit use (including senior centers, libraries, and nursing homes). You may not resell, sublicense, repackage into Amazon KDP/Etsy paperbacks, or publicly redistribute the digital files.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All original content on PuzzleJot—including our hand-curated vocabulary selections, deterministic layout algorithms, vector PDF templates, graphic brand marks, typography stylings, and educational commentary—is the intellectual property of PuzzleJot and is protected under United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

5. User-Generated Content & Custom Puzzle Maker

Our website provides an interactive Word Search Maker enabling solvers to create custom printable puzzles from their own word lists.

  • Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any words, titles, and text strings you input into the puzzle maker. You agree not to enter defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or unlawful text, or content that violates third-party copyrights or trademarks.
  • Browser-Only Processing: Custom word lists are processed locally within your web browser. We do not index, publish, or claim ownership over your personal custom word searches.

6. Health, Wellness & Medical Disclaimer

PuzzleJot puzzles are created solely for leisure, entertainment, cognitive recreation, and quiet relaxation.

While solving word searches is widely considered an engaging mental exercise, nothing on this website should be construed as medical advice, clinical cognitive assessment, neurological rehabilitation, or guaranteed prevention of cognitive decline.
