How this word search maker works

Enter your list of English words or phrases, one per line. Spaces are kept in the word list, but the grid uses letters only. Choose easy for forward across-and-down placements, medium to add diagonals, or hard for every straight-line direction. Every submitted word is either placed and verified or clearly rejected with an error message.
